Le Vieil Atelier - Available for Holiday Lets
Translation: The Old Workshop
Formerly a carpenter's workshop and granary, now a spacious (around 1000 sq ft) comfortable one bedroom holiday cottage. All the usual facilities for comfortable home from home living are provided.
The path, made from tiles recovered from the Granary, leads to the front door which opens into the large (6metre by 5metre) salon with lounge and dining area, and staircase to the bedroom with ensuite shower room.
There is a door through to the kitchen with breakfast table, two preparation areas and large patio doors onto semi-private garden area. There is also a downstairs toilet.

The Salon

The salon has a feature ceiling with exposed beams. There is a 42inch plasma TV with blue ray disc player. The TV has both English free to air satellite and French Digital terrestrial programs available. A Panasonic CD and radio player is also provided. There is seating for five in the lounge area. One of the sofas contains a double bed. The dining table seats 6. Games, books, CDs and a selection of DVDs are provided for guests' enjoyment. |
The Kitchen

The brand new kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There are also the usual smaller kitchen items, such as toaster, coffee machine, kettle and a mixer. There are also numerous tools and utensils for those who like to be creative whilst on holiday. Access to the semi-private garden area through the patio doors. |

The other "half" of the kitchen shows the dishwasher, washing machine and breakfast area with table and chairs. The tiles on the splashback areas are traditional french handmade kitchen wall tiles, locally sourced. |
The Garden
|
The private garden area accessed from the patio door in the kitchen has a new terrace laid so it gets the maximum amount of sun, for most of the day. The church provides the centrepiece of the view across the fields to the village. |

Upstairs
|
The "T" shaped first floor bedroom has double bed, wardrobe, desk and drawer units. We have also provided chairs and a coffee table where you can sit and look out through the full height windows (with Juliette balcony) over the rose garden to the front of the house. The ensuite bathroom has a large walk in shower with Grohe thermostatic mixer with wash hand basin and WC. |

Changeover Saturday during Peak Periods (Summer, Easter and Xmas) but otherwise may be negotiated. We expect guests to leave by 10:00 hrs on the day of departure to give us time to clean and make ready for incoming guests. Arrival time is 16:00hrs or later by arrangement.
Long term lets (over 4 weeks) - price negotiable.
Short term lets (less than 1 week) not normally available during Summer periods, but please ask if making a late booking.
Cot, subject to availabilty, at no extra charge. Please let us know if you require it when you make your enquiry.
