Formerly the proprietor's accommodation and now a spacious (around 1100 sq ft) comfortable one bedroom holiday cottage. All the usual facilities (see below) are provided. The path, made from tiles recovered from the Granary, leads to the front door which opens into the kitchen. There is a large (7metre by 6metre) salon with lounge and dining area and staircase to the upper floor. The kitchen has a utility area at the rear with feature "French" sink with a back door leading to the semi-private garden area. There is also a downstairs shower room and toilet. The pictures below provide a brief tour and more details. |
The Salon

The large (7m by 6m) salon has 42inch plasma TV with blue ray disc player. The TV has both English free to air satellite and French Digital terrestrial programs available. A Panasonic CD and radio player is also provided. There is seating for five in the lounge area. One of the sofas contains a double bed. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and 10 may be seated by using the chairs from the kitchen. There is a bookcase and a desk. Games, books, CDs and a selection of DVDs are provided for guests' enjoyment. |
The Kitchen

The kitchen and utility area are equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There are also numerous tools and utensils for those who like to be creative whilst on holiday. There is a table and 4 chairs around which breakfast may be taken. (The sun shines through the kitchen windows during the morning.) Access to the semi-private garden area is through the back door. |
The Garden

The semi-private garden area can be accessed from the outside door in the utility room and it is nice to sit under the hazelnut tree for afternoon tea! |
The Shower Room

The downstairs shower room has a shower (90cm x 90cm) with thermostatic control, basin and WC. There is dual access from the utility room and the salon. |

Upstairs

The bedroom has double bed, wardrobe and drawer units. Also provided are 2 chairs and a coffee table set by the full height windows with juliette balcony which look out over the rose garden to the front of the house. The ensuite bathroom has a large walk in shower with Grohe thermostatic mixer, basin and WC. |

Rental Rates (for 2 persons) are as follows:
Changeover Saturday during the Summer Periods but otherwise may be negotiated. We expect guests to leave by 10:00 hrs on the day of departure to give us time to clean and make ready for incoming guests. Arrival time is 16:00hrs or later by arrangement. Long term lets (over 4 weeks) - price negotiable.
Short term lets (less than 1 week) not normally available during Summer period, but please ask if making a late booking.
At Christmas special additional rates may apply depending on the days booked.
